Safety Inspection
At Davis Custom Trailers, we offer a full, top to bottom, safety inspection for our customers to ensure your trailer road worthy. We check your trailer lights, breakaway system, hitch/coupler, actuator, safety chains/cables, brake controllers, wheels and tires, axle(s) and suspension, hubs/ drums, and brakes.
Tires
We offer a wide variety of radial and bias ply tires for your trailers, mobile home, pontoon, campers, and more. We focus on supplying Goodride tires by Dexter that feature a 1-year hassle-free replacement. Our goal is to educate you on date codes and safety.
Rewire
During our safety inspection, we will check to see if your trailer’s wires and lights are in working order. Driving without working lights can be a huge safety concern. If they are not working, we offer complete rewires. Our technicians will remove the old wire and feed the new wires through your frame and attach the wires to trailer frame. We can replace the current lights with your choice of LED or incandescent.
Axles
We offer sprung and torsion axles in both galvanized and painted steel. Our Spring axles start at 2.2k capacity and go to 12k capacity. Our torsion axles start at 3.5k capacity and go to axles 12k. We also work closely with our vendor to special order most axles you will need.
Brakes
We offer all brake packages needed for your trailers. We carry electric brakes, electric over hydraulic brake packages, and hydraulic brake packages. Please let us know what the trailers intented use is and we can recommend a proper solution! We offer Dexter, Trailer Parts Pro, Hydrastar brands. Dexter Nev-R-Adjust, Dexter Self Adjust, and Trailer Parts Pro electric brakes are our top sellers. We can install all brake packages on your trailer as well!
